Disability Access

Smithills Open Farm is fully accessible for any visitors with disabilities. We have ramps in place where necessary and disabled toilets on site. Most of the pathways are tarmacked too. The farm is set on a small hill (typical Bolton countryside) but there are plenty of benches around. Any disabled person is entitled to one adult to accompany them free of charge. Please note – wheelchairs cannot be taken on the tractor and trailer ride as there are 3 small steps to get onto the trailer.

Hygiene Guidelines for Visitors:

All visitors must wash their hands thoroughly with soap and water after touching or feeding any animals. We also advise you to clean and sanitise pram and wheelchair wheels after visiting.

GROUPS & PARTIES

We have a variety of Groups and Party packages to suit both adults and children alike. From Birthdays to school parties and group bookings, see what we have to over here.
