A various times throughout the day, there will be talks and sessions for you to meet some of the animals who don’t appear in Pets Corner.
A popular section on the farm, our Meerkats live in the Weird and Wonderful area. Come and meet them at various times throughout the day and join in with feeding them. Don’t be squeamish though! You may be able to hand them some wriggling mealworms! Listen to the short presentation and learn more about this entertaining species.
At various times throughout the year we will have piglets. One of our farmers will bring a piglet out of the stable to show you up close. Have a stroke or take a close up photo. During this presentation you will learn lots about our pigs and piglets.
Meet the reptiles and learn more about them. You may even get to meet up close a terrifying tarantula or a curious corn snake!
Let your children enjoy a donkey ride at our Donkey Depot. We have lots of donkeys on the farm of all colours and sizes and they all take it in turn to give rides to the children. Whatever the weather, this activity will be open all day. Tickets can be purchased on arrival at the main entrance or from our snack shop or café. Tickets cost £2 each. There is no lower age limit, adults may just need to walk alongside very young children. There is a height restriction for Donkey Rides, so children’s height may need to be measured on arrival at the main entrance.
