Another great visit to Smithills farm. Came during the week with our 20month old expecting it to be really quiet but lots of school groups and nurseries there. Still got to look at everything and went for pets corner at 12.30 when everyone else was eating lunch so it was quite. Highly recommended, staff are really friendly and knowledgeable.

Don't know why I haven't brought the grandchildren before. If they like animals apart from the zoo this is excellent. Also able to hold and pet certain animals. Donkey rides and tractor rides for a small fee. Also play area and picnic area.

A wonderful farm to spend the whole day on a sunny day! The staff are nice. Welcoming and enthusiastic. There are a lot of animals to see, feed, and pet. Facilities are great too! My daughter enjoyed it very much which is great!
