Welcome to Smithills Open Farm where children love to keep coming back to see their favourite animals and lots of new ones. Set in the vast open countryside of Smithills Country Park next to the historic Smithills Hall and Restaurant the family can spend a fun day whether it is wet or fine and the children will be talking about it forever.

When you visit us there is lots to see and do, children can enjoy a ride on a donkey , or pretend to be a farmer driving our toy tractor and trailers. If they just want to let off steam we have 2 bouncy castles that they are able to play on all day long. We encourage children to hold chicks, rabbits, guinea pigs and other baby animals on the farm. We also bottle feed the lambs throughout the year, which children love to help with.

We have full disabled access and sufficient toilet and hand washing facilities.

It truly is a family day out to remember!
